Frank Babcock
Member President Board of Directors
Marketing and Broadcast Executive Frank Babcock adept in the arts of Hapkido ,Tae Kwon Do, Judo , and Jiu-jitsu has provided seminars in various disciplines to competitors, military, and law enforcement personnel.
As President of Kick International, Frank has developed viewer programming covering competitive combat sports for audiences in arenas, on television throughout the United States, and worldwide on the Internet with more than 172 million total viewers.
Frank has combined 40 years of marketing and advertising experience at CBS and Charter Communications with his extensive expertise in combat and martial arts to become the primary creative force behind full-combat competitive kick-boxing as a sport. He is also the co-owner/developer of 21 patents for sports protective and safety equipment.
In addition his work as an inventor, author, publisher, television producer, director and commentator, Frank developed the medical safety and legal standards for training and competition that are essential to the safety of competitors in competitive combative sports, His refereeing and judging clinics and seminars are attended by professionals throughout the US.
Frank's dedication to building a strong foundation in combat sports for amateur athletes lead him to cofound Karate International Council of Kickboxing in 1981 which evolved into Kick International a 501c3, not-for-profit Corporation formed under the federal standards of the Ted Stevens Olympic Amateur Sports Act created to develop amateur combative competition for future Olympic Recognition. Kick International is recognized by the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations as their exclusive representative in the United States. KICK has evolved to become the voice of competitive amateur combative sports with its "Combat Showcase" Television series providing recognition for regional events to further its athletes' competition, recognition and opportunity while supporting the goals of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations for future Olympic acceptance.

The Founder of the Professional Karate Association (PKA)
Referred to as the Godfather of modern day Kickboxing, the creator of the original rules for the sports of Point Karate and modern Full Contact Karate/ Kickboxing, as well as the creator of the rules for continuous sparring and musical and creative forms competition, Mike Anderson has become known as the "Father of Sport Karate and Kickboxing".
Having produced and/or directed over 100 major events in arenas encompassing 4 continents and 25 countries, Mike Anderson is, by far, the most prolific promoter in the history of the martial arts. Being multi-lingual, the energetic American not only produced or directed these events, but served as the television announcer, as well. His many achievements include acknowledgements and accolades in TV/ Film, Martial Arts instructor of champions, astute business acumen, Author/ Writer, Promoter of World events for martial arts tournament and developer of Kickboxing equipment and safety rules for full contact competition, Publisher and editor on the World's most prolific martial arts magazines.

Tom Hazelton

Tom Hazelton, D.A.R.E. America's President of Program Development is a dedicated executive who has been involved with the D.A.R.E. program for over 25 years. Mr. Hazelton is a highly-decorated Marine Corps Vietnam combat veteran. He is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles and holds a graduate degree from the University of Southern California. He served 25 years with the Los Angeles Police Department, ten years as a Special Assistant to Daryl Gates, Chief of Police. Hazelton helped establish the revolutionary D.A.R.E. program and has been raising money for D.A.R.E. ever since. Tom Hazelton has his own production company and has worked as a production executive for Disney's Buena Vista, Paramount Studios and NBC. He has worked as a Hollywood consultant for Stephen J. Cannell, Aaron Spelling and Fred Dreyer.
Ted Welch

Involved in Amateur boxing since the age of 13 with over 100 fights, having fought on the Olympic trial team up to the semi finals in 1948. Director and treasurer of a not for profit sports promotion organization that raised money for amateur boxing and kickboxing athletes for over 20 years in Missouri, by promoting amateur competitive events during the 60's and 70's. Past Vice President of the Gateway Boxing club in Missouri for 10 years promoting both amateur and professional boxing thru the 80's. In the late 80's thru mid 90's, as President of Arch Productions, promoted Pro Boxing and Pro kickboxing along with regional amateur boxing and kickboxing events and assisted USA boxing with raising support monies for our Ozark Boxing club with Myrl Taylor and John Hollis ( AIBA International Officials trainer).In 1986 As a promoter I sanctioned events with the Karate International Council of Kickboxing (K.I.C.K.) After promoting over 300 events in boxing and kickboxing, his interests turned to professional fundraising by helping formulate Kick International to help the growth of amateur kickboxing in the United States. His knowledge, and past contacts have helped to assist in developing fundraising for our organization to include a drive to create a multipurpose athletic training facility and National Headquarter for Kick International and amateur kickboxing located in the US. Currently serving as treasurer of KICK International as well as a tournament coordinator for amateur kickboxing in Las Vegas, Nevada and In Chicago, Ill working closely with many state commissions and developed a support package following strict rules and regulations to help reduce athletic injuries specifically for amateur kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts which our organization sanctions and provides athlete insurance through AIG insurance group who recognized and sponsors our efforts toward amateur kickboxing and Mixed Martial arts.

Currently a Level III R/J and on the Local level with the LBC I have been President, Vice President, Secretary, Registration Chair, Senior Regional Chair and now President Emeritus of my LBC. On the National level I served on several committees, women's, tournament, site selection and U-19, presently on the LBC Task Force for USA Boxing.

Earnest Hart, Jr. is a world-class martial arts champion, corporate protection and self-protection expert, physical fitness trainer, actor, and seminar specialist. Hart is the only African-American ever to win four kickboxing titles in the welterweight class. Master Hart as a member of the Master of Martial Arts hall of Fame reviews all recomendations for inductees to the Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
A multi-talented martial artist, Hart holds black belts in 15 different styles. They include Yoshukai karate, 8th degree, under Rich Hootselle; jujitsu, 7th degree, under Mel Brown; judo, 6th degree, under Avis Dunbar; tae kwon do, 6th degree, under Frank Babcock; and kajukenbo, 4th degree, under John Short. Over the years Hart has trained and perfected several fighting arts such as savate, shootfighting, and shootboxing, and trained in various forms of weaponry such as edged weapons, stick fighting, and firearms. He is also the highest ranking teacher at 10th degree in the American Fighting Arts School of Martial Arts and has been named one of the “Top Ten Kickboxers of All Time” by Inside Karate magazine.
His brilliant career includes motivational speaking and seminars. The topics range from “Just Say No to Drugs” to Rape Awareness clinics. He has given seminars for people such as Chuck Norris and Pat Johnson, in addition to training some of the country’s top athletes like Baseball Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith of the St. Louis Cardinals, and O.J. Anderson of the New York Giants. Hart was the official martial arts trainer for the 1999-2000 Super Bowl Champion St. Louis Rams. In addition to keeping these gridiron superstars in prime physical condition, he taught them how to apply various martial art techniques to the game of football. The Rams coaches and players agree that this unique program is an important part of the Ram’s fitness program and game plan.
Hart’s talents have been used for acting, stunt work, and outstanding fight scenes in a variety of movies including To Live and Die in LA, Karate Kid III, Mortal Kombat, and as one of Mr. Freeze’s ice thugs in Batman & Robin. He has worked with Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Clooney, Pat Morita, and Willem Dafoe.
His career has taken him to faraway lands such as Japan, where he became the only Westerner to train the emperor’s personal security forces, to Monte Carlo, where he demonstrated his art in a Royal Command Performance for Prince Rainer and Princess Grace. He was also the first person ever to fight and defend his title in Nashville, Tennessee at the legendary Grand Ole Opry.
Over the years, Hart has provided executive protection to his elite clients, in addition to teaching and training executive protection specialists on the finer points of personal protection and CQC (Close Quarter Combat). Hart also provides personal safety and training services to a variety of clients, and teaches self-protection courses to individuals, schools, and corporations.
